Well.. I chose medicine for diferent reasons...
You can help sick people to get better, you can earn enough money to live well, I love Science and the rest of the people respect you because of studying this career.
Its pretty cool and you learn a lot of how our body works...
You can help people, specially the ones who cannot afford a private doctor like poor people.
It`s make you a happy and integral human.
The ones who motivated me to study this career are myself, God and specially my mom, she is very proud of me now!
The websites I chose are:
http://www.nature.com/index.html It has a lot of interesting and updated publications related to science and medicine.
http://medlineplus.gov/ It has a basic description of most of the diseases and how to treat them. Everyone can read it!

About the websites... They are very interesting I think, I didn't had the chance to visit them extensivly but they look good. Besides, we chose the same website: http://medlineplus.gov/
